100% DONE!!!

WE'RE FINALLY DONE!!

We just came back from a 4-day camping weekend to celebrate the completion of our album. It was awesome! There's actually an interesting story about the album and our camping weekend.

It all started Wednesday night when we were finishing the album. We were at the studio with Bernie, our mastering guy. Everything was going great - we burnt the master CD and copies for all of us.
Our plan was to go straight to bed that night because we were waking up for 7am to go camping. I think it was around midnight when Steve called Ed's cell phone (Ed was sleeping at my place that night). Apparently, on his way home, Steve listened to the album and noticed a few errors that needed to fixed ASAP because in the morning, before camping, Bodan was supposed to drop off the master CD at the production house.
To cut a long story short, from midnight until 4am Ed and I listened to the album and make sure there were no more errors that we missed. After listening to the record we went to bed, nerve-racked and scared that there will be delays on our album.
In the morning, we left a long detailed message with Bodan explaining the problems and what we should do about it. Lucky for us that day Bernie was off so Bodan was able to get together with Bernie and fix all the problems. Safe to say, Bo was able to deliver our album on time and it's currently being pressed for all our fans to enjoy.

Recording this record has been a long and bumpy ride. We've gone through 2 drummers, re-recorded the drum tracks 3 times, recorded 16 songs, dropped 4, royally screwed up 1 song only to finally fix it, saving ourselves heart attacks... I can't even begin to think of more things that went wrong. This album took us over 2 years to complete and now that it's done we're so excited to play shows and share our work with everyone who has waiting so long.

We will recieve the album back at the end of the month. When we get them back, all our fans will recieve details as to how they can get a copy VIA Myspace messaging.

Here is the official track listing:
01 What Now
02 Something Real
03 That Striped Dress
04 The Mediator / The Pearl Jam
05 Like Stars
06 Pale Green
07 Slowly I'm Falling Apart / The Porcelain Jam
08 I Do Not Think So
09 What Love Is
10 It's Hard
11 It Must Be For Change
12 Adore

Thank you to everyone who has waited and supported us throughout the recording of this record. We hope everyone enjoys the end product as much as we do. We look forward to playing hundreds of shows all across the country for our fans and friends!!!

We love you,
Andrew

OMG - We're 99.9% FINISHED!!!

Holy crap!

We've been so busy but it's been so worth it and now we're almost done. Here's a recap of what's happened this past week...

First off - WE FINISHED MIXING!! Dudes and dudettes, our album sounds dope!! This past weekend we were working 17hr days, Friday-Sunday - Mixing from 10am to 4am, no breaks (hardly even for food). It was painful but it's sounds so good and we're so stoked!!

Second: All songs are currently being mastered. This shouldn't take too long.

Third: Artwork and Photos have all been completed. Our cover art was painted by an amazing Toronto artist named, Lori Dell . View a sample of our cover below! Our photos were done by us - they look awesome. There's nothing more to really say about that other than THEY ROCK. hahah

Today, I got our album copy written. I'm so stoked because of this. I feel so good - you have no idea. Just have to mail a copy to the United States when it's pressed and we'll be officially copy written. WE CAN SUE PEOPLE NOW!!

Right now, all we really have to do is send all the images and layout templates to our man Eric to design a booklet for us. We have the basic ideas down, all we need is an expert to execute our vision. Once that's done and the mastering is done, we have to send the audio and booklet to our manufacturer to get them pressed and by the end of the month, it'll be in our hands.

THE ALBUM WILL BE DONE AT THE END OF THE MONTH. Isn't that exciting?

We have one show in Uxbridge booked for our first CD release party. There will be more to come in Toronto and area so PLEASE check out our Myspace page for future dates and info on our Uxbridge show! It's just a matter of booking more shows now.

Thanks for being there for us - we truly love our fans and friends!!

Check out this sample image of our cover art!!!

WE LOVE YOU,

- Andrew

MIXING LIKE A BUNCH OF ANIMALS!!

'Ello there beauties and beasts...

Andrew here writing a quick hello/update on our record.

Things today (and the past few days) have been SUPER productive/amazing. We've got so much done and we're so friggin' close I can taste it. Tonight we wrapped-up song 9 of 12. Tomorrow we'll be mixing "The Mediator" and "Adore".

Today we worked on a few tracks primarily "What Now" and "I Do Not Think So". We completely mixed "What Now" today and even added a few quick treats in there too. I'm not going to spoil anything but I just want to say they are tastey audio treats and I can't wait for you to snack on them. "I Do No Think So" was already mixed... we in-fact already got it back from Bernie (our mastering tech) but we noticed a few things that needed tweaking (hi-hats; too loud. kick; too quite. yo-mamma; too fat)... so we tweaked them and now we're happy.

As Ed was mixing and Dan and I were giving input (Steve's at his cottage partying it up with granny and grandpa), I put in a bunch of video game time. I played a lot of Sonic III, Street Fighter II, and Maximum Carnage. Being the mature young man that I am, I can honestly say that I got my ass served in each and every one of those games. For the hell of it, here is a picture of M. Bison, the gayest/hardest character to beat in Street Fighter. I hate him. I couldn't beat him.

YAY - Stay tuned for more blabber about our amazing new record.

PEACE OUT,

-andrew
