DAY ONE: Bed Tracks

Hello all,so last night was our first official day of recording for the album. We got a lot done and we are very proud of ourselves.
We started the bed tracks of songs, preparing for drums. I think we got about 9 or 10 songs in the bag.
Next week we get cymbals to use for drums because mine suck....alot! Brent Mills from Crush Luther is hooking us up with some cymbals from their Manager's collection. Should be pretty sweet.
We're recording a few older tunes that havn't been played in a while so we are going to call on a good buddy of ours, Dan Mulholland, to demo a few of those songs with us just so we can get a better feel and approach when recording.
All and all, everything is good. I friggin wish my studio was bigger though... we friggin have cables everywhere, mics hanging anywhere imaginable, drums, guitars, amps, bongos, paper lying everywhere - I think I need a maid.
